40th Anniversary
The hospitality industry isn't for the faint of heart, so we were incredibly proud to hit 40 years in business (August 2023) under Murray family ownership. Naturally, we toasted this achievement the only way we know how - one huge party! Guests were treated to a cocktail reception in the Joe Delgiorno Gallery Room, followed by Mike DelGuidice and Big Shot live in concert. The real marvel of The JD Gallery Room is its seamless transition from fully private to semi-private, meaning guests can experience the atmosphere of a concert from the comfort - and elevated viewpoint - of their private space.
Retirement Party
It's no surprise that we host a ton of retirement parties at Mulcahy's: our video walls and many screens are perfect for slideshows, and we have no shortage of microphones and stages for speeches.
This one in was extra special. Warner is a Wantagh legend, and was the beloved proprietor of our neighboring 7-Eleven for many decades. When he retired in January 2023, we were honored to host this party and celebrate his special career.
The decorations came out amazingly - the vendor on this was Wantagh's own @balloonsby_lou - and remains one of our favorite themes to date!
This particular event was situated in both the Gallery Room and the Ballroom with the dividing wall open. Although this is definitely on the larger end of the private party scale (Warner's fanfare called for the main stage) we can often be flexible with space at times that we would otherwise be closed, e.g. weeknights, daytime events, summer dates etc.
1st Birthday
We've seen a huge increase in 1st birthday parties over the last couple of years and are fully on board with the movement. Ignore the 'they won't remember it' comments and remind yourself: getting through the first year of parenthood deserves to be celebrated!

Parents choose Muls because this amount of floor space can be hard to come by, especially when you have plans for a soft play area and ball pit. Some special party guests have included Minney, Mickey, and various magicians, and we are confident that we can accommodate whatever live entertainment or vendors you have in mind.
We are easily accessible for relatives of all ages, and have no problem providing kid-friendly catering. As most kid-centered events fall on Saturday and Sunday mornings and early afternoons, be sure to ask about our delicious brunch package; featuring bloody marys, mimosas, and an optional custom omelette station.
